This criminal original petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent to speed up the investigation in Crime No.248 of 2017 and to file a final report before the appropriate Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents.

3. Taking into consideration, the nature of the allegations in the FIR, this Court cannot issue any direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation in a time bound manner.

However, this petition is disposed of, with a direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation as expeditiously as possible and either file a final report or closure report, as the case may be under due intimation to the defacto complainant.
