ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence under Sections 4(1)(aaa) r/w 4(1-A) of T.N.P. Act (Transport) in Cr.No.160 of 2021 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner was found in possession of 110 litres of Pondy arrack.
3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and that he has been falsely implicated in this case. 4.The learned Government Advocate would submit that there are eighteen previous cases pending against the petitioner. 5.Considering the fact that there are eighteen previous cases pending against the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
