Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st and 2nd respondents herein to conduct enquiry and transfer patta in the name of these petitioners in S.No.164/2 based on the petitioners' application for transfer of patta dated 02.12.2021 within a fixed time frame as stipulated by this Court. O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents 1 and 2 herein to conduct enquiry and transfer patta in the name of the petitioners in S.No.164/2 based on their application dated 02.12.2021 for transfer of patta.

Today, when the matter is listed under the caption 'for issuance of patta', the learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents submitted that, pursuant to the order of this Court dated 06.06.2022, the petitioners' representation for issuance of patta was considered and the same was rejected, on the ground that they are not in possession. The learned counsel for the petitioners also ratifies the submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents. 3.

Recording the submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, no further adjudication is required in the present Writ Petition. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands closed. However, the petitioners are at liberty to workout their remedy in the manner known to law. No costs.
