Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to pay the Earned Leave Salary and Earn Leave Surrender Amount of Rs.81,748/- with 18% interest for the period between the date of retirement and till the date of payment, within a specific period.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for direction to the respondent to pay the Earn Leave Salary and Earned Leave Surrender amount with applicable interest.

2. The petitioner was joined as Junior Assistant in the respondent Corporation he retired from service as Superintendent on 31.07.2017. However, the petitioner was not paid Earned Leave Salary and Earned Leave Surrender amount to the tune of Rs.81,748/-. Therefore, the petitioner submitted representation and the same is pending with respondent.

Considering the above facts and circumstances, the respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner seeking Earned Leave salary and Earned Leave Surrender Amount with applicable interest within a period of eights weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
