Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of mandamus to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to pay an amount of Rs.1,00,00,000/- [Rupees one crore only] to the petitioner by way of compensation for violation of the petitioner's fundamental rights under Article 21 of the Constitution of India by not posting the W.A.No.1665 of 2012 before the appropriate Bench and not paying the retirement benefits to the petitioner as directed by this Court dated 27.03.2012 in W.P.No.37202 of 2006.

ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by M.DURAISWAMY,J.) The above writ petition has been filed to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to pay an amount of Rs.1,00,00,000/- [Rupees one crore only] to the petitioner by way of compensation for violation of the petitioner's fundamental rights
under Article 21 of the Constitution of India by not listing the writ appeal in W.A.No.1665 of 2012 before the appropriate Bench and not paying the retirement benefits to the petitioner as directed by this Court in W.P.No.37202 of 2006.
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr.M.Gnanasekar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the main grievance of the petitioner is to list the writ appeal in W.A.No.1665 of 2012 for final hearing before the appropriate Bench. He further submitted that in the event of this Bench directing the Registry to list the writ appeal for final hearing, the petitioner would withdraw this writ petition. He has also made an endorsement to that effect in the writ petition.
3. In view of the same, the writ petition stands dismissed as withdrawn. The Registry is directed to list the writ appeal in W.A.No.1665 of 2012 for final hearing on 03.06.2015 before the appropriate Bench.
No costs.
Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
