Respondents Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent herein to conduct District Level Counselling as per the orders of the first respondent herein in Na.Ka.No.A1/007391/2011 dated 10.6.2011 and promote the petitioner as Middle School Headmistress.

ORDER
The relief sought for in this writ petition is for a direction to direct the second respondent to conduct District Level Counselling as per the orders of the first respondent dated 10.6.2011 and promote the writ petitioner as Middle School Headmistress.
2. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the writ petitioner, states that the writ petitioner was allowed to retire from service on 30.9.2011 on attaining the age of superannuation. Though the writ petitioner was allowed to retire from service, her grievance in relation to the promotion has not been redressed. In this regard, the writ petitioner submitted a representation to the first respondent on 19.8.2011 and the same is yet to be considered.

Thus, without going into the merits of the matter, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the writ petitioner on 19.8.2011 on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petitioner is directed to enclose the copy of the representation along with the order passed in this writ petition.
4. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
