This petition has been filed to enlarge the petitioner on bail in the case pending investigation in crime No. 1 of 2024 on the file of the respondent.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner kidnapped the victim girl and had committed penetrative sexual assault against her. Further, he threatened her not to inform the same to others. Hence, the case.

3. Heard both sides.

4. On perusal of the victim girl statement under Section 164 Cr.P.C, wherein, she stated that on 05.01.2024, when she was returned from the school the petitioner was came with two wheeler stated that her mother asked him to bring her and thereafter he committed penetrative sexual assault against her near the tamarind trees and also brandishing the

knife, threatened her not to disclose to any one. Hence, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this petition is dismissed.
