This is a petition to condone the delay of 224 days in filing the appeal.

Satisfied with the reasons assigned in the affidavit filed in support of this petition, the aforesaid delay is condoned and this petition is ordered, subject to payment of costs of Rs.5,000/- to Cancer Institute, Adyar, Chennai, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, failing which, this petition shall stand automatically dismissed without any further reference to this Court.
