Respondents PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus, calling for the records pertaining to the order of detention in Crime No.109/BCDFGISSSV/2024 dated 14.02.2024 of the 2nd Respondent and set aside the same and direct the Detenue Alagappan Son of Chockkalingam, aged about 63 years, to be produced before this Hon'ble Court and set him at liberty forthwith.

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner, as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, by producing a copy of the Government Order in G.O.Rt.No.1725, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XIII) Department, dated 25.03.2024, submitted that the detention order has already been revoked.

2. Recording the said submission, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands

dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
