The applicant/plaintiff seeks leave of this Court to sue the respondents 1 and 2/defendants before this Court.

2. In the affidavit filed in support of this application and also in the plaint, it is asserted by the applicant that an agreement between him and 1st respondent/1st defendant was entered on 15.06.2022 at Chennai for joint production of Tamil film D3.

3. The main suit has been filed by the applicant seeking a declaration that he is the co-owner of the copyright of Tamil film D3 and for consequential injunction restraining the respondents from releasing the said film.

4. In view of assertion made by the applicant that the agreement was entered at Chennai, the applicant is granted leave as prayed for.

5. The Registry is directed to number the suit, if it is otherwise in order and list the matter on 17.03.2023.
