O R D E R

This petition has been filed to directing the respondents to give police protection to the petitioner and to her husband and to their relatives on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 03.05.2017 and consequently directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 03.05.2017.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner; the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for respondents and perused the materials placed on record.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the grievance of the petitioner is that he has made a representation dated 03.05.2017 to the second respondent herein seeking for police protection. Though the petitioner has sought for larger relief, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice to direct the respondents to consider his representation within a time frame.

4. In view of the submission now made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation dated 03.05.2017 in accordance with law within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of this Order.

5. With the above directions, this petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitioner is closed.
