O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed praying to direct the 1st respondent herein viz the Inspector of Police, (L&O), T.4 Maduravoil Police station, Chennai to register a case as against the culprits on his complaint dated 28.04.2015.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents and perused the material placed on record.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the petition enquiry is https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

pending in CSR.No.485 of 2015 before the first respondent.

4. Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the first respondent police is directed to conduct enquiry expeditiously and during the course of enquiry, if any cognizable offence is made out, a regular case shall be registered, following the decision laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Lalita Kumari v. Government of Uttarpradesh and Others reported in (2014) 2 SCC 1.

With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
