Common Prayer: These Writ Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to survey and sub-divide the survey Number of property comprised in S.F. No.277/4B2 at P.Nallagoundampalayam Village, Mettur
Taluk, Salem District based on the sale deed dated 26.11.2025 with the aid of the 3rd Respondent consequently direct the 1st Respondent issue separate patta in the name of the petitioners within a reasonable time as fixed by this Court. For Petitioner(s):

Side) (for R3) C O M M O N O R D E R These Writ Petitions have been filed to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to survey and demarcate the boundaries of the properties morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, and also to issue a separate patta in favour of the petitioner in both the Writ Petitions, based on their on-line application, dated 17.02.2026, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
2. Since the aforesaid petitioners' on-line applications have not been considered till date, the petitioners have filed these Writ Petitions.
3. Mr.C.Jayaprakash, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2. Mr.V.Meganathan, learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), accepts notice on behalf of the 3rd respondent. Since no adverse orders are passed against the 4th respondent in this writ petition, notice to the 4th respondent is dispensed with.
4. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if the respondents 1 and 2 are directed to survey and demarcate the boundaries of the petitioners' properties morefully described in the prayer to these Writ Petitions, which the petitioners claim that it is owned by them, after hearing the objections, if any, from the 4th respondent, the neighbouring land owner as well as any third party whom they deem fit and thereafter, issue a separate patta to the petitioners, if they are entitled to be issued, in their name for the subject properties.
5. Accordingly, this Court directs the respondents 1 and 2 to complete the survey and demarcation of boundaries of the properties morefully described in the prayer to these Writ Petitions, based on the petitioners' online application, dated 17.02.2026, after giving due consideration to the supporting documents produced by the petitioners, and after hearing the objections, if any, from the 4th respondent, neighbouring land owner and any other third party, whom the respondents 1 and 2 deems it fit to enquire. Thereafter, if the petitioners are found to be eligible, the respondents shall issue separate patta for the subdivided property in favour of the petitioners. The respondents 1 and 2 are directed to complete the aforesaid exercise, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If the need arises for police assistance and on a request made by the respondents 1 and 2, the 3rd respondent shall render police assistance for the effective implementation of this order.

6. With the aforesaid directions, both the Writ Petitions are disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
