ORDER

The petitioners, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 147, 341, 283, 506(i) IPC and Section 3(1) of Prevention of Damage to Public Property Act, 1984 in Crime No.114 of 2020 on the file of the respondent police, seek anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioners demanded the defacto complainant to give him scrap materials. Since the defacto complainant refused the demand made by the petitioners, the petitioners are said to have damaged the entire water supply lines that was provided to the defacto complainant and they have also damaged the road leading to the defacto complainant's company.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions submitted that the petitioners are repeatedly involved in such cases and there are two previous cases of similar nature and therefore, opposed the petition.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that a false case has been foisted against the petitioners and they have nothing to do with the alleged offence.

5. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the attitude of the petitioners, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.
