Respondents Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying this Court to issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to regularize the service of the petitioner with effect from the date on which he completed ten years of service on daily wage basis by extending the benefits of G.O.Ms.No.22, Personnel and Administrative Department dated 28.02.2006 with all consequential monetary benefits, including arrears of pension and pensionary benefits within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

When the matter is taken up today, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that during the pendency of the writ petition, the writ petitioner has attained the age of 60, hence the prayer sought for in the present writ petition has become infructuous.

2.Recording the said submission made by the learned counsel for the writ petitioner, nothing survives for further adjudication in this case. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs.
