Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st to 3rd respondents to consider the representation made by the petitioner dated 16.03.2022, initiate action against the 4th to 6th respondents including their office bearers and members for usurping the illegal demand of compulsory engagement of loadmen of the 4th to 6th respondents Sangam on the wages prescribed by them by the merchants of the petitioner sangam at Gingee.

ORDER
Mr.D.Ravichander, learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice for R1 to R3 and is armed with sufficient instructions to proceed with the matter finally, even at the stage of admission. In light of order proposed to be passed, no notice is thought necessary to R4 to R6 at this juncture. 2.The petitioner is a trader based in Gingee Taluk, Villupuram District. His grievance is as against the acts of omission and commission allegedly committed by R4 to R6 by disturbing/preventing, the loading and unloading work carried on by the traders.
3.Mr.Ravichander, who has accepted notice on behalf of the R1 to R3, the official respondents, would accede to the position that there is some disharmony as between the traders in Gingee Town and the Gingee Town Sumaippani Thozhilalar Sangam arrayed as R4, Kulakkarai Sumaippani Thozhilalar Sangam arrayed as R5 and Villupuram Road Sumaippani Thozhilalar Sangam arrayed as R6.
4. He would state that efforts are ongoing to mediate the disputes inter se the parties with the hope of arriving at an amicable settlement. The deliberations at the peace committee meeting conducted on 03.04.2022, that were unsuccessful, are to continue and the matter is now to be taken up tomorrow i.e. 08.04.2022. Representative of the petitioner and respondents 4 to 6 have been summoned to appear before R3 in this regard. 5.Recording the aforesaid would suffice to meet the ends of this writ petition and with this, this writ petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
