O R D E R

Heard Mr.R.Nalliyappan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.R.Lakshmi Narayanan, learned Additional Government Pleader accepting the notice in all these writ petitions on behalf of the respondents and with their consent, the Writ Petitions are taken up for final disposal.

2.In all these Writ Petitions, the petitioners have sought for a direction to the District Collector cum Arbitrator, Villupuram, who was appointed under the provisions of the National Highways Act, 1956 to dispose of all the Applications claiming for enhanced compensation for the lands which were acquired by the respondents.

3.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief sought for, there will be a direction to the first respondent to consider the petitioners' Applications, if the same are in order, after affording an opportunity of

personal hearing and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

These Writ Petitions are disposed of accordingly. No costs.
