PETITION under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act to punish the respondent for willful disobedience of the order passed in W.P.No.8924 of 2015 dated 22.4.2016. For Petitioner : Mr.P.Ganesan For Respondent : Ms.T.Girija, GA
ORDER
The above contempt petition has been filed alleging willful disobedience of orders passed by this Court in W.P.No.8924 of 2015 dated 22.4.2016.
2. The operative portion of the order dated 22.4.2016 reads as follows:
"Be that as it may, it is seen that a Committee has been constituted, consisting of four members, who are in the cadre of Cooperative Registrars and they have commenced their enquiry. In order to ensure that enquiry is proceeding in a proper manner, the Deputy Registrar/third respondent shall monitor the enquiry proceeding and direct the Enquiry https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ Officer to complete the enquiry within
a time frame, which shall be not more than three months. If the third respondent finds any of the employees, past or present, are guilty of embezzlement of funds or other delinquencies, then, he shall recommend for disciplinary action to be initiated against those employees."

The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent/ contemner submits that after the direction has been issued, disciplinary proceedings have been initiated, an enquiry was conducted and explanation was called for on 20.9.2016. She further submits that the delinquent officer also submitted his explanation and final orders are to be passed.
4. In the light of the above, the contempt petition is closed by directing the respondent/contemner to pass appropriate final orders within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
