O R D E R

The relief sought for in the present writ petition is to direct the respondents 1, 2 and 3, to consider the representations submitted by the writ petitioner on 10.03.2023.

2. The said representation dated 10.03.2023 submitted by the writ petitioner to the District Collector reveals that he is continuing as Vice President of Keeraipati Village Panchayat. The petitioner states that he has not been allowed to sign the cheques and the President is committing several illegalities in the matter of financial transactions of the Panchayat. In this regard, the petitioner submitted a complaint to the District Collector, who inturn has not initiated any action.

3. The District Collector being the Inspector of Panchyat under the 2/4

Panchayats Act, has to look into the complaint and initiate appropriate action by following the procedures as contemplated under the Act and Rules.

4. Therefore, the District Collector, Dharmapuri District, the 1st respondent herein is directed to look into the petitioner's complaint dated 10.03.2023 and initiate appropriate action in the manner known to law.

5. With this direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No Costs. Consequently, the connected Writ Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
