O R D E R
(Order of the Court was made by C.T. SELVAM, J) Appellant originally filed W.P.No.27132 of 2017 seeking direction of this Court to the respondents 1 and 2 to dispose of his representation and to pass orders considering him for promotion. Since the appellant/petitioner has not produced the required rule fixing the criteria for promotion consideration, the said writ petition was dismissed by the learned Single Judge of this Court on 24.10.2017 on the ground that the appellant/petitioner has not produced any rule fixing the criteria for promotion to see whether he has possessed the required qualification. Therefore, the appellant has preferred this writ appeal with all relevant particulars.
2. We have heard the learned counsel on both sides and perused the documents.
3. Since the appellant has sought for limited prayer of considering his representation dated 05-09-2017 pending before respondents, we direct respondents 1 and 2 to consider the same and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this Order.
4. With the above direction, the writ appeal is allowed. No costs.
