ORDER

The limited prayer sought for by the petitioner in the present writ petition is to direct the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 12.03.2015 and to further direct the first respondent to remove the electricity connection vide meter box bearing No.22566205 illegally fixed in petitioner's property situated in Devendra Nagar, Thiruvanmiyur Village, Saidapet Taluk, Chingleput District comprised in S.No.211/8(part), 211/9(part) within a stipulated time.

2. Mr.L.Santhosh Kumar, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the Tamil Nadu Electricity Board, who took notice for the first respondent, submitted that the first respondent may be directed to dispose of the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 12.03.2015, within a stipulated time.

3. Since the writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking direction only against the first respondent, notice is not ordered to the second respondent, who is a private party.

4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, the first respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 12.03.2015 and pass appropriate

orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above observation, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
