C.M.P.No.7446 of 2026 in C.M.A.SR.No.190215 of 2025 C.V.KARTHIKEYAN, J., AND K.RAJASEKAR.J., This petition has been filed seeking to condone the delay of 31 days in filing the appeal against the order dated 23.06.2025 in M.C.O.P.No.4872 of 2019 passed by the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Chief Judge, Court of Small Causes, Chennai.
2. The first respondent has entered appearance on caveat.
3. In the affidavit filed in support of the petition, it has been stated that though the copy application was made on 25.06.2025, the award was made ready only on 23.07.2026 and delivered on 24.07.2026 and thereafter, it had been forwarded to the Head Office to get consent to file the appeal.

5. Taking all factors into consideration, the delay in filing the appeal is condoned. Accordingly, this petition is allowed. The Registry is directed to number the appeal, if it is otherwise in order.
