This Court, vide order dated 19.06.2023, has directed the learned Presiding Officer, I Additional Labour Court, Chennai, to dispose of I.D.No.314 of 2006 on or before 01.12.2023 and allowed the above said writ petition.

2. This being so, after a lapse of two months, the learned Presiding Officer, I Additional Labour Court, Chennai, has written a letter to the Registrar General of this Court vide Dis.No.239, dated 23.02.2024, seeking extension of time in order to comply with the order passed by this Court dated 19.06.2023, which is not appreciated by this Court. However, considering the reasons stated in the letter, this Court is inclined to grant four months extension of time to dispose of I.D.No.314 of 2006, as directed by this Court order dated 19.06.2023.

3. Registry is directed to send a copy of the order to the learned Presiding Officer, I Additional Labour Court, Chennai. 1/3
