ORDER
The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the first respondent to consider their representation dated 28.03.2016 regarding the availability and sale of Sand and Savadu as per the Tamil Nadu Mines Mineral Concession Rules 1959.

2. Mr.K.R.Krishnan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that though the petitioner's Association has given the representation on 28.03.2016, the first respondent has not considered the same yet.
3. Mr.M.S.Ramesh, learned Additional Government Pleader (Taxes) takes notice for the respondents and submitted that the first respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 28.03.2015, on merits and in accordance with law, within a stipulated time.
4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and also taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 28.03.2015, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
With this observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
