It is seen that the marriage between A.1 and the defacto complainant was fixed on 29.06.2015. But, it was called off on the ground that the petitioners demanded dowry and other things from the family of the bride. In this regard, a complaint was launched before the respondent police, which was referred to the Dowry Prohibition Officer, who conducted an enquiry and has given a report, in which, a finding has been given that the marriage was called off since, there was demand of dowry. 2.After receiving the report from the Dowry Prohibition Officer, the respondent police registered a case in Crime No.7/2015 for offence under Section 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act and Section 506 I.P.C., and the investigation is pending.

3.In view of the above, these petitions for not to harass the petitioners cannot be maintained and the same are liable to be dismissed. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petitions are dismissed.
