Respondents Prayer:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, 1950, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Fifth Respondent to remove or transfer the Sixth Respondent from the post of Head Master inCharge of P.T.V.S. High School, Thirukkazhukkundram either to P.T.V.S. High School, Kanchipuram or P.T.V.S. Middle School, Maduranthagam and appoint suitable senior most teacher as Head Master in-Charge of the School till approval of School Committee as per the complaint given by the Petitioner Maha Sangam dated 23.05.2016 and 14.06.2016.

Heard Mr. Anandha Babu, Learned Counsel for the Petitioner, Mr. P.Balathandayutham, Learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the First to Fifth Respondents and Mr. S.Arulandu, Learned Counsel for the Sixth Respondent and perused the materials placed on record, apart from the pleadings of the parties.

The Writ Petition has been filed for directing the Fifth Respondent to remove or transfer the Sixth Respondent from the post of Headmaster (in-charge) of P.T.V.S. High School, Thirukkazhukkundram either to P.T.V.S. High School, Kanchipuram or P.T.V.S. Middle School, Maduranthagam and appoint suitable senior most teacher as Headmaster (in-charge) of that school till approval of the School Committee as per the complaints dated 23.05.2016 and 14.06.2016 given by the Petitioner/Association. 3.

Learned Counsel appearing for the Sixth Respondent, on instructions, states that after the filing of the Writ Petition, the Sixth Respondent has resigned from the service. In the Counter-Affidavit dated 21.02.2017 filed by the Fifth Respondent, it has been stated that subsequently, one Rathinamala, who is the senior most B.T. Assistant working in P.T.V.S. High School, Thirukkazhukundram, was entrusted with the post of the Headmaster (in-charge) of that school as per proceedings in Na. Ka. No. 2911/B2/15 dated 11.07.2016 issued by the Fifth Respondent. In view of the same, nothing remains for further consideration in the matter. 3/5
