The petitioner seeks a mandamus forbearing the respondents herein from establishing a TASMAC retail outlet in Plot No.39 , 40 feet Road, Samundeeswari Nagar, Potheri-Thailavaram, Kancheepuram District.

2. Today Mr.P.Armugarajan, learned Standing Counsel for R2 and R3 circulates proceedings bearing Rc.No.1946/R2/2015 dated 23.03.2016, wherein the District Manager, TASMAC Ltd., Kanchipuram (South) confirms that there is no proposal to open a new shop or shift any existing wine shop into the stated address as above.

3. Recording the same, this writ petition is closed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed. No costs.
