ORDER

The writ petition has been filed for the following relief: "directing the 2nd respondent to conduct enquiry in regarding with mismanagement and irregularities committed by the officials and Employees in the 3rd respondent society and take appropriate action against erring officials/salesman by disposing the written representation made by the petitioner on 9.2.2026 within a stipulated time." 2.It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner is the General Secretary of the petitioner union consisting of the employees working in the 3rd respondent society. While so, the respondents 4 and 5 herein, who are working as Salesman had committed many irregularities and involved in misappropriation of society funds. Thereafter, an enquiry under Section 81 of Tamil Nadu Cooperative Societies Act was initiated against the said Salesmen and other officials. The Deputy Registrar of Co-operative Societies passed surcharge order against them for recovery of amount with interest. Since the

recovery amount ordered is lesser than the actual misappropriation, the petitioner made a written representation dated 09.02.2026 before the 2nd respondent. However, there is no response till date, aggrieved by which, the petitioner is before this Court.

3. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

4. Considering the relief now sought for by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 09.02.2026, on merits and in accordance with law and to pass appropriate orders, within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
