Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the affidavit filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to grant an order of interim direction, directing the 1st and 2nd respondents to follow the recruitment Policy and Policy of reservation including the Languages priority as followed in medical officers recruitment in the Union Territory of Puducherry consisting of 4 enclaves in respect of the selection process of the candidates in the notification issued by the 2nd respondent in advertisement No.3 of 2016 for the 159 post of Assistant Professors in the colleges, administered by the Territorial Government, pending WP.No.2296 of 2017.
Order :This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.V.VASANTHAKUMAR, Advocate for the petitioner and of M/S.MEENAKUMARI CENTRAL GOVERNMENT STANDING COUNSEL for the 1st respondent and of MR.C.RAMESH ADDL.GOVT.PLEADER on behalf of the Respondents 3 to 5 the court made the following order:- The relief claimed in the petition is beyond the subject matter of the writ petition, which is really whether there should be a separate State Public Service Commission or not for the State of Puducherry.
