O R D E R

This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to withdraw the Look Out Circular (LOC) issued against the petitioner in connection with Passport No. Z3358641, in relation to Crime No. 89 of 2023 on the file of the second respondent.

2. Heard both sides and perused the materials placed before this Court.

3. On perusal of records, it is evident that the Look Out Circular issued against the petitioner, following the registration of FIR in Crime No. 89 of 2023, lacks legal basis in light of the quashment of the proceedings in C.C. No. 2915 of 2024 on the file of the learned Chief

Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai. The said proceeding was quashed by this Court by an order dated 02.04.2025 in Crl.O.P.No.5556 of 2025. In such view of the matter, the issuance and continuance of the Look Out against the petitioner cannot be sustained in law. Accordingly, the respondents are directed to withdraw the Look Out Circular issued against the petitioner forthwith, in relation to Passport No. Z3358641, concerning Crime No. 89 of 2023. The petitioner is at liberty to travel abroad without any hindrance.
