Mr.R.P.Murugan Raja Govt Advocate Order This writ petition has been filed to direct the first respondent to issue Patta in the name of the petitioner for the property, morefully disclosed in the affidavit filed in support of this writ petition.
2.The petitioner claims that he is in possession of the property, morefully disclosed in the affidavit filed in support of this writ petition for a long number of years. According to the petitioner, his representation dated 22.09.2025 seeking for issuance of Patta for the said property has not been considered by the first respondent. Under those circumstances, this writ petition has been filed. 3.Mr.R.P.Murugan Raja, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.
4.At the outset, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that since the petitioner is in possession of the Bhumi Danam land, it may not be possible for the respondents to issue Patta 5.The same is disputed by the learned counsel for the petitioner. 6.This court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the respective contentions.
7.No prejudice would be caused to the respondents if the petitioner's representation, as stated supra, is considered, on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this court.
8.For the foregoing reasons, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the first respondent to pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's representation dated 22.09.2025 seeking for issuance of Patta in his name for the property, morefully disclosed in the affidavit filed in support of this writ petition, after giving due consideration to the supporting documents produced by the petitioner and after hearing all the necessary parties, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
