ORDER

The above Writ Petition has been filed challenging the order of the 1st respondent, wherein, he had directed the Maintenance of Accounts of the Muthugoundanpudhur Panchayat to the 2nd respondent herein. 2.The petitioner claims that he was appointed as the Panchayat President in the year 2011. Originally elected as Panchayat President for the year 2006-2011, thereafter, re-elected in October, 2011. The said order of the 1st respondent was passed on the allegations that there has been several irregularities in maintaining the accounts of the Muthugoundanpudhur Panchayat. Admittedly, the period of office of the petitioner would have expired in the year 2016. In view of the same, there is no necessity to pass any further orders in this Writ Petition 3.In the light of the above, the Writ Petition is closed. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are also closed.
