ORDER

The parties to the lis on hand made a submission that a civil case in S.A.Nos.183 and 184 of 2019 is pending. Regarding the dispute, the parties are at liberty to approach the TANGEDCO authorities for their civil rights. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. However, the learned counsel for the petitioner made a submission that the writ petitioner is utilizing the premises for residential purposes and therefore, the commercial tariff imposed is not in consonance with the regulations. In this regard, the petitioner submitted a representation to the respondents on 04.11.2015. The respondents are directed to inspect the premises and verify whether the petitioner is using the electricity service connection for domestic purposes or for commercial purposes. If the service connections are utilised for domestic purposes, then appropriate charges alone to be collected by following the procedures. The said exercise of conducting an inspection shall be done by the authorities within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
