ORDER

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The learned counsel for the respondent - contemner submits that on account of some communication delay, the order passed by this Court could not be complied with and by then, the time limit stipulated had expired and therefore, the contemner is unable to comply with the order. He seeks some more time to comply with the order of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ this Court.

3. Though the respondent is prima facie guilty of contempt, considering the fact that the matter arises out of a computation petition under the provisions of the Industries Disputes Act, the respondent - contemner is granted time till 06.1.2017 to deposit the sum of Rs.6,73,292/- (Rupees six lakhs seventy three thousand two hundred and ninety two only) to the credit of C.P.No.114 of 2012 on the file of the Labour Court, Coimbatore. On such deposit, it is open to the petitioner to file an appropriate application before the Labour Court for further relief.

4. With the above directions, the above contempt petition is closed.
