ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner herein, who was arrested for the offence under sections 392 and 506(ii) of I.P.C. in Crime No.76 of 2022, has filed this petition seeking bail.

2.The petitioner herein has threatened the defacto complainant and robbed Rs.35,000/- from him. As per the F.I.R., this petitioner along with the other accused in order to extract money from the defacto complainant, threatened him saying that they will inform to media that he is selling the banned plastics in his shop. The petitioner in fear of threat to his life and property, had not intimated the matter immediately to the police. But only after reporting the matter to the Association, he got enough strength to give this complaint. Therefore, the reason for the belated complaint cannot be the reason to grant bail to this petitioner, since the petitioner herein has come to the adverse notice of the respondent police of extorting money https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

in the name of the political party. Hence, the criminal original petition for bail is dismissed in view of the fact that the investigation is still pending.
