The Petitioner suffered the order of punishment from the hands of the 3rd respondent against which he preferred a statutory appeal to the 2nd respondent on 29.06.2020 and the same is pending without consideration. Aggrieved over the long pendency, the petitioner is before this Court.

Considering the limited prayer sought, without expressing any opinion on merits, a direction is given to the 2nd respondent to dispose of the appeal preferred by the petitioner dated 29.06.2020 on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
