O R D E R

This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first and second respondent to initiate appropriate revenue recovery proceedings on the 3rd respondent and recover the compensation amount as passed by the second respondent in W.C.No.18/2008 dated 27.06.2008 based on the representation dated 11.06.2016 within a time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner who was working as a construction labourer under the 3rd respondent and died during the course of employment on 31.05.2007. In the petition for compensation, the second respondent has awarded a sum of Rs.4,33,820/- on 27.06.2008 as compensation. However, till date, despite several representation, the award amount has not been recovered from the 3rd respondent. Hence, the present petition.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this Court may grant liberty to the petitioner to file appropriate petition before the second respondent for issuance of revenue recovery certificate.

4. In view of the limited request made by the learned counsel for the 2/4

petitioner, this Court permits the petitioner to make an appropriate application before the second respondent for recovery of revenue proceeding from the third respondent and the second respondent is directed to consider the same and pass appropriate orders on merits within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of the application of the petitioner.
