ORDER
[Made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] This habeas corpus petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to produce the petitioner's minor daughter Monisha, D/o.V.Kumar, aged about 17 years, from the illegal custody of the respondents 3 to 5 before this Court and hand over her custody to the petitioner herein.

It is the case of the petitioner that her daughter Monisha, aged about 17 years, went missing from 18.03.2022 and that the police are not taking effective steps to secure her. 3.
On instructions, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on a complaint given by the petitioner, a case in Veppankuppam Police Station Crime No.72 of 2022 has been registered on 19.03.2022 for 'woman missing' and during the course of investigation, it came to light that the detenue Monisha was in love with Yuvaraj, third respondent herein and has eloped with him.
In such view of the matter, this habeas corpus petition stands closed with a direction to the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Vellore Sub-Division, Vellore District to supervise the investigation in Veppankuppam Police Station Crime No.72 of 2022 and keep the petitioner informed of the developments, if any. As and when the detenue Monisha, aged about 17 years, is secured, she shall be produced before the Judicial Magistrate Court No.III, Vellore, under intimation to the petitioner.
