The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the respondent, who is not the wife of the petitioner has filed a petition under Domestic Violence Act, 2005 in D.V.C.No.22 of 2021 on the file of the IX Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Saidapet, Chennai and that the petitioner and the respondent are not living under one roof and that she has unnecessarily filed domestic violence case with false allegations.

2. Perused the records, issue notice to the respondent. Private notice is also permitted. The proceedings in D.V.C.No.22 of 2021 on the file of the IX Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Saidapet, Chennai, are hereby stayed till 08.06.2023. The presence of the petitioner in D.V.C.No.22 of 2021 on the file of the IX Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Saidapet, Chennai, is also dispensed with.
