Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Habeas Corpus calling for the records pertaining to the detention order in Memo No.C3/D.O./36/2020 dated 11.03.2020 passed by the 2nd respondent under Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982 and set aside the same and direct the respondents to produce the petitioner's husband Vinoth, S/o.Masilamani, aged about 28 years, the detenu, now confined in Central Prison, Cuddalore before this Court and set the petitioner's husband Vinoth, S/o.Masilamani, aged 28 years, the detenu herein at liberty.

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.] The petitioner challenges the impugned order of detention in No.C3/D.O./36/2020 dated 11.03.2020 detaining her husband as "Bootlegger", as contemplated under Section 2(b) of the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor reports that the order of detention passed against the detenu has been revoked by the Government by its order in G.O.Rt.No.2040 Home, Prohibition and Excise (XI) Department, dated 06.05.2020 and he has also produced a copy of the Government Order. Recording the same, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
