Petition filed under Article 224 of Constitution of India, praying to modify the order dated 07.11.2024 made in WP.No. 1212 of 2019 by deleting the sentence "In reply to the same, the learned Standing Counsel for the respondent would submit that already the respondent - Board decided to entrust the recruitment work to the TNPSC hereinafter. It is placed on record" and thus render justice.

ORDER
This miscellaneous petition is filed to modify the order dated 07.11.2024 made in WP.No. 1212 of 2019 by deleting the sentence "In reply to the same, the learned Standing Counsel for the respondent would submit that already the respondent - Board decided to entrust the recruitment work to the TNPSC hereinafter. It is placed on record" .

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner/respondent and the respondent/writ petitioner and perused the materials available on record. 3.Learned counsel for the petitioner/ Chennai Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board submits that the respondent Board was exploring possibilities of entrusting recruitment work to the TNPSC hereinafter; that this Court however, recorded as if the respondent Board had decided to entrust the work to TNPSC which is factually incorrect as it was only submitted that the respondent authority is only exploring possibilities.
4. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent/writ petitioner does not object the aforesaid submission.

5. In view of the above, Paragraph No.11 of the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.1212 of 2019 dated 07.11.2024 is substituted as under: "11. At this stage, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that appropriate orders may be passed directing the respondent to entrust the selection process of the respondentBoard in future for any appointment through the Tamilnadu Public Service Commission instead of entrusting recruitment work to the Anna University. In reply to the same, the learned Standing Counsel for the respondent would submit that already the respondent-Board is exploring possibilities to entrust the recruitment work to the TNPSC hereinafter. It is placed on record."
6. Registry is directed to make necessary corrections in the order dated 07.11.2024 in W.P.No.1212 of 2019 and issue fresh order copy to the parties concerned.
