PRAYER : This Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., to direct the second respondent police to register a case based on the basis of the petitioner's complaint dated 04.09.2022 and investigate the same in accordance with law. For Petitioner :

O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent police to register a case based on the petitioner's complaint dated 04.09.2022 and investigate the same in accordance with law.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr.V.Meganathan, learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) would submit that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, enquiry has been conducted. After the enquiry, the complaint was closed by the second respondent on 21.12.2021.

3. At this juncture, learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has not received the closure report.

4. In view of the above, direction is issued to the second respondent to furnish the copy of the closure report to the petitioner within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On such receipt, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the closure report by way of filing protest petition in accordance with law.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
