Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, for issuance of a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents herein on par with the basic pay fixed for his junior M.Angamuthu by stepping up the basic pay of the petitioner herein in the light of the judgement rendered by this Hon'ble Court in WP.No.18707/2007 and a batch of cases dated 08.04.2009 confirmed in WA.No.1173/2010 and a batch of cases dated 20.09.2010 and consequently revise his pension and grant him all consequential benefits by considering his representation dated 27.08.2012 sent by registered post.

O R D E R

The relief sought for in the present writ petition is for a direction to direct the respondents to fix the basic pay of the writ petitioner on par with the basic pay fixed for his junior Mr. M.Angamuthu by stepping up of the basic pay of the petitioner in the light of the judgement rendered by this Hon'ble Court in WP.No.18707/2007 and a batch of cases dated 20.09.2010 confirmed in WA.No.1173/2010.

2. The grievances of the writ petitioner is that, in respect of his claim for stepping up of the pay on par with one Mr.M.Angamuthu. This Court consider the claim and granted relief. Pursuant to the orders passed by this Court, the said https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

M.Angamuthu got all his benefits on par with his junior. It is the claim of the writ petitioner that, the said M.Angamuthu is junior to the petitioner. This being the factum, the representation submitted in this regard is to be considered on merits and in accordance with law.

3. Thus without going in to the merits of the matter, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the writ petitioner on 27.08.2012 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petitioner is directed to enclose a copy of representation and all relevant documents along with the order passed in the present writ petition.

4. Accordingly the writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
