The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking to consider his representation dated 07.08.2020.
2. On perusal of the said representation, it is seen that the petitioner's son is involved in a criminal case and the Inspector of Police one Valli attached to Puliyanthope Police Station had demanded Rs.1,00,000/- for letting his son free and which was paid by him, however, he was directed to obtain Anticipatory Bail for his son, which was also obtained. The case of the petitioner is that even thereafter, the said Inspector of Police appears to have harassed the petitioner
and left with no option, the petitioner lodged a complaint dated 20.08.2019 to the Deputy Commissioner of Police, which was forwarded to the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Puliyanthope, who conducted initial investigation, but thereafter there was no progress. Hence, the petitioner has sent the present representation dated 07.08.2020 to the respondents. Despite the same, no progress seems to have been made. Hence, the present writ petition.
3. The Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the petitioner's son is A1 in Crime No.447 of 2019 along with two others he had committed offence under Sections 341, 323, 294 (b) and 506(ii) IPC. Thereafter, moved the Anticipatory Bail in Crl.O.P.No.18616 of 2019 and this Court by order dated 15.07.2019 anticipatory bail was granted and thereafter, he had lodged the complaint in the year 2019. He further submitted that criminal investigation in Crime No.447 of 2019 has been completed, charge sheet has been made ready and is awaiting for approval. In view of the same, this compliant is only a motivated complaint. Hence prayed for dismissal.
4. Considering the submissions, it is seen from the complaint there seems to be some allegation made against one Valli, Inspector of Police, Puliyanthope who said to have received Rs.1,00,000/- from the petitioner.
5. In view of the same, this Court is of the view that the complaint is to be forwarded to the Vigilance and AntiCorruption who has to conduct enquiries in this regard.
6. With the above observation, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
