Respondents Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records of the second respondent culminating in his impugned communication bearing Lr.No.SEV/DFC/AAO/HT/AS-1/F.1125 /2016 dated 24.06.2016 issued for the petitioner's HT SC No.1125 demanding a sum of Rs.29,36,088/-, quash the same and forbear the respondents from in any manner levying, demanding and/or collecting such excess demand charges from the petitioner on the grounds stated in the impugned communication without following the due process of law. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

O R D E R

The learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent-TANGEDCO made a submission that the impugned show cause notice, which is under challenge in the present writ petition, had already been withdrawn by the respondent-TANGEDCO.

2. In view of the withdrawal of the impugned show cause notice by the respondent-TANGEDCO, the cause became vanished. Thus, no further adjudication is required in the respect of the grounds raised in the present writ petition.

3. Accordingly, the writ petition stands closed. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
