Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, to call for the entire records connected with the order of the second respondent herein concerned in BCDFGISSSVB No.69/2019 dated 09.02.2019 and quash the order of detention passed therein by the second respondent herein against the detenu and consequently directing the respondents herein to produce the body and person of the detenu by name Manikandan aged about 28 years, Son of Jayavel, now detained in Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai before this Court and set him at liberty.

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.] The petitioner challenges the impugned order of detention dated 09.02.2019 in No.69/BCDFGISSSV/2019 detaining her son as "Goonda", as contemplated under Section 2(f) of the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.

2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor reports that the order of detention passed against the detenu has been revoked by https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the Government by its order in G.O.Rt.No.1050 Home, Prohibition and Excise (XIII) Department, dated 25.03.2019 and he has also produced a copy of the Government Order. Recording the same, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed.
