Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to pass an order on the basis of the petitioners' representation dated 29.02.2020 to change the legal heir certificate vide Certificate No.TN-720180601628 dated 20.07.2018 issued for the deceased late K.Kathiresan died on 26.01.2018.

2. This writ petition is filed seeking for mandamus directing the second respondent to pass orders on the petitioners' representation dated 29.02.2020 seeking Legal heirship certificate.

3. After notice, today when the matter is taken up for further hearing, it is represented by the learned counsel for the petitioners as well as the learned Government Advocate for the respondents that the petitioners' representation has already been considered and rejected by the second respondent on 03.08.2020.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioners further submitted that challenging the said order, the petitioners have also filed a revision before the concerned Revisional Authority.

5. When such being the position, this writ petition has become infructuous.

Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous, without expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the petitioners.
