Respondent in both WPs Prayer in W.P.No.7076 of 2013: This Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for records of Advertisement dated 31.12.2012 for the post of Registrar and quash the same in so far as it relates to deputation and consequently, direct the respondent to consider petitioner for the post of the Registrar of the respondent University.

Prayer in W.P.No.7077 of 2013: This Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records of the memo of the respondent No.E(1)/23375/2012 dated 26.10.2012 and quash the same and consequently, direct the respondent to consider the petitioner for the post of the Registrar of the respondent University.

For Petitioner in both WPs:Mr.K.Sakthivel For Respondent in both WPs : M/s Ramalingam & Associates COMMON ORDER Challenging the order dated 26.10.2012, passed by the respondent, rejecting the request of the petitioner to consider his candidature for the post of Registrar, W.P.No.7077 of 2013 came to be filed. The said petitioner also preferred W.P.No.7076 of 2013 to quash the advertisement dated 31.12.2012 issued by the respondent, calling for application to the post of Registrar.

2.However, today, when these matters were taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioner fairly submitted that since the relief sought herein is related to the year 2012, nothing survives for adjudication. 3.In view of the above submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, these writ petitions are dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
