ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking for a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Pollachi to take up the Bail Petition in C.M.P.no.5123 of 2017 in S.T.C.No.507 of 2016 at an early date.

2.The grievance of the petitioner is that though he has filed the Bail application in C.M.P. No.5123 of 2017 on 05.10.2017 by giving prior notice to the respondent, the application has been kept pending and posted on 23.10.2017. 3.In my view, the petition for bail should not be unnecessarily protracted and disposed of at the earliest, particularly when a prior notice was already been given to the respondent. Hence there shall be a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate, Pollachi to take up the bail petition in C.M.P.No.5123 of 2017 in S.T.C.No.507 of 2016 and dispose of the same on or before 14.10.2017.
