When the case was taken up for consideration on 12.01.2018, there was no representation for the petitioner. Hence, the matter was directed to be posted today (i.e) on 31.01.2018 under the caption "For Dismissal".
Even today, there is no representation for the petitioner either in person or through his learned counsel.
2. Learned counsel for the respondents, on instructions, submits that the relief sought for in the writ petition has become infructuous and hence, nothing survives for adjudication.
3. In view of the above, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
